Bible discusses CMN’s aim for student success

OKMULGEE, Oklahoma — On April 20 the College of the Muscogee Nation’s tenth graduating class crossed the stage to accept their diplomas at the Mvskoke Dome in Oklmulgee.

Robert Bible CMN President said only 14 percent of Native Americans have a bachelor’s degree. He said the college is striving to change that statistic.

“Every year is a new group and we know some of the challenges we face as Muscogee people sometimes,” he said. “It’s good to give them that first foundation of success…”

He said many students who graduated this year are also enrolled in four-year colleges and other higher learning programs to further their education.
