ICYMI: Images from the Oklahoma teacher walkout

OKLAHOMA CITY — Teachers across the state of Oklahoma walked out of their classrooms April 2 in protest of education funding and salaries.

Some teachers held a protest at the Oklahoma Capitol, various streets in Tulsa and around different communities in the state.

As of April 9, a number of schools in Oklahoma remained closed in support of the walkout or due to many teachers requesting to be absent.
